Elayne and James Schoke Jewish Family Service will hold its annual gala, An Evening with Schoke JFS,
on Sunday, May 19 at 6:00 PM at the Italian Center in Stamford.

Join us to be amazed by the juggling of Greg Kennedy, featured artist with Cirque du Soleil.
Alan Kalter will serve as our Master of Ceremonies.
The evening is co-chaired by Liz Kitay and Ronnie Sichel.
The silent and live auctions are chaired by Sandy Speter.

 

Our First Anachnu Program is a Success!

Schoke JFS' Holocaust Survivor program gathered at the Chabad of Stamford for an afternoon of Jewish music and song.  There was also a special performance by children from Gan Yeladin.   The seniors were moved by the music and even got up to dance!

Lev Podelko, Marina Sapir’s son, pictured with Matt Greenberg, CEO, made a contribution in honor of his mother to the Anachnu program.

 

The Anachnu program is funded by a grant from the JFNA Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care.

 

Busy, busy, busy…Schoke JFS has been collecting, packing, organizing and distributing kosher for Passover food bags to over 300 families.  From across Fairfield County, generous volunteers have helped make this happen.  Thank you!
